Lajollacooks4u Serves Up Unique Home Dining Experience for Local and Overseas Visitors

 

La Jolla, CA – January 14, 2008 – Lajollacooks4u, a cooking experience in the kitchen of Jodi Abel, is now open. Located in LaJolla, just north of downtown San Diego, California, visitors will have the unique opportunity to prepare, dine and savor an entire cooking experience.

Overlooking the beaches of Pacific Beach atop Mount Soledad, Chef Jodi will lead a personalized cooking class where participants will enjoy the preparation and culinary results of their work and leave with a first-hand flavor of California Cuisine.

Jodi said the idea of a personalized cooking encounter came to her shortly after taking a home cooking class in Italy last summer. “After many years of taking cooking classes at home and abroad I realized that true cuisine is about the “whole experience”; local fare, traditions, atmosphere, and personalized touches that make “dining” an unforgettable event,” Jodi said.

The cooking school begins at 10 AM and concludes with a meal – ending at 2pm. The cost is $200.00 per person that includes a personalized 6-course meal and wine paring. Jodi will accommodate any dietary requirements.
