Top-Rated Cooking School Expands With Farmers' Market Tours and Foodie Trip to South Africa
San Diego, CA – November 10, 2010 – Lajollacooks4u, a cooking and dining experience, announces the expansion of its cooking classes with the addition of customized Farmers’ Market tours, in addition to a South African Foodie and Cooking Tour scheduled for October, 2011.
Jodi Abel, founder of Lajollacooks4u, said the expansion of her business is a natural evolution of her company that provides visitors with a unique opportunity to prepare dine and savor the ideal cooking experience over a four-hour period in her gourmet kitchen.
Guests at Lajollacooks4u work with Jodi to prepare a six-course meal designed for their palettes and then dine on the fruits of their labor, complemented with California wines. Guests who elect to take a farmers’ market tour have the opportunity to see what is seasonally grown and then purchase the produce for their meal.
In October 2011 Jodi will lead a select group of up to 8 individuals on a first-class foodie tour of Cape Town, South Africa. Over a 10-day period they will experience the culinary culture of the Western Cape, participate in wine tours and learn the basic fundamentals of various cultural recipes that make up Cape cuisine.
Lajollacoks4u, founded in 2008, provides an ideal activity for couples, corporate team building and any foodie looking for a cooking and culinary experience in an ideal setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
